From the Capitol to the Coast

The Question Continues to Loom. Is this the Right Time to Buy a House?
Now, more than ever, is the perfect time to become part of the American dream of home ownership. Interest rates are at an unheard of low. Conventional 30-year fixed rates are just at or over 5%, the government's stimulus package allows for a $8000 tax credit if you close by the end of November, there is a good resale inventory to select from, there are many foreclosed properties available, and the economy is beginning to take a positive upswing. Can you imagine any better market to be in when looking for a new home?
If you've been sitting on the fence, and you have a good credit rating, and you've been wondering if you should take the plunge, keep this in mind. The only thing you will get by sitting on the fence, you guessed it -- splinters. Always use a REALTOR you trust and take their advise. REALTORS are professionals and adhere to the National Association of Realtor's Code of Ethics. We are trained in every aspect of the home buying experience and we know how to get the job done right, from start to finish.
If you are still undecided, here are some potential indicators to look out for. Each of these indicators, when combined, will begin to diminish your chances of getting in that new home at a bargain basement price and the market will swing back in the seller's favor. The (local) unemployment rate continues to slow and then fall. The National GNP begins to rise, mortgage rates ebb upwards, the resale inventory decreases, and home prices begin to rise. When each of these indicators rides off the plateau, it should be your clue to move off center and make that next step.
Take a look through my website: http://www.delhomefinder.com/. It's chocked full of very helpful information on the links. When you are ready to take that next step, give your local lender a call. The best thing to do is find out how much you qualify for so you and I can focus your home shopping energies in the right direction. After all, there's little sense in shopping for a Mercedes when you might better be suited at a Chevrolet dealer. After that, give me a call or drop me a note at delhomefinder@yahoo.com. I look forward to serving your needs.
