Prime Hook Delaware's Bird Watching is On-Point

Delaware's Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge has it's winter bird watching field trips scheduled. The refuge has such an excellent habitat, a large number of species find their way on a seasonal basis. The planned trips are Dec 16th, Jan 10th, Feb 14th, and Mar 10th. Some observers over the years have seen as many as 200 species of our winged friends. The field trips are three hours in length and begin at 8 a.m. at the Refuge Headquarters off Route 16. This is a rain or shine event, so dress warmly. What a terrific way to spend a morning and this can be an exceptional educational opportunity for the kids. For more information, call 302-684-8419.
